Guests: Individuals who are invited to one or more of your wedding-related events..
Events: A wedding-related gathering that you would invite guests to. In addition to the default ‘Wedding’ (or ‘Ceremony’ and ‘Reception’) event, you can create additional events like Bachelor/Bachelorette Party.
Groups: Sets of people who fall into certain categories. For example, all of the bride’s co-workers can be listed in a group called ‘Sarah’s Work Friends’

Managing Guests
- How do I add guests?
- How do I edit a guest’s information?
- Log in to you WeddingWire account
- Hover over ‘Planning Tools’, click ‘Guest List’
- On the ‘Overview’ section, find the guest whose information you wish to edit
- Click the guest’s name
- Make the appropriate changes
- Changes are saved automatically
- How do I batch edit guest information?
- Log in to you WeddingWire account
- Hover over ‘Planning Tools’, click ‘Guest List’
- Click on a specific wedding event
- Click the box next to ‘Select All’ or click the box next to each guest you’d like to make changes to
- In the toolbar that appear, click the batch action you’d like to take. You can move, update attendance, select a menu, choose a list, or remove guests
Creating Events
- How do I create an event?
- Log in to your WeddingWire account
- Hover over ‘Planning Tools’ and click ‘Guest List’
- On the toolbar where ‘Overview’ is listed, click the ‘+’ icon on the far right
- Enter your event name
- Select whether you will track meals or have a seating chart for this event
- If this event requires a special menu you can add or edit it there
- Click ‘Save Changes’
- How do I delete an event?
- Log in to your WeddingWire account
- Hover over ‘Planning Tools’ and click ‘Guest List’
- Click the name of the event you wish to delete*
- On the right side of the page, click the blue ‘Settings’ link across from the event name
- Scroll to the bottom
- Click ‘Remove Event’
- Click ‘OK’ to confirm
*Please note, the Ceremony, Reception, and Wedding events cannot be deleted.
